Aromatherapy is the study of essential oils and is an exciting and popular type of holistic energy medicine today. Its roots date back to Egyptian times and is described as, “The art and science of utilizing naturally extracted aromatic essences from plants to balance, harmonize and promote health of body, mind and spirit, thus enhancing an individual’s innate healing process”. After gathering information about your presenting concerns and discussing your goals for the session, based on her knowledge regarding science and safety, (over 250 class hours in essential oil therapy) and experience, Nancy will create a custom blend for you to take home and use as part of the consult. Her essential oils and carriers are of the finest quality available on the market today and many are organic.

Professional hypnosis is a scientifically based treatment and for those clients who are willing to give it a try usually receive great results, many with only one or a few sessions. During a treatment the client goes into a state of deep relaxation where the subconscious mind can be accessed in order to bring up and release negative or self-sabotaging behaviors that may be blocking your goals. After letting go of these, positive affirmations (that are discussed and agreed upon before the session,) can be introduced. Prior to the session itself, Nancy collects a detailed history of the concern you have and discusses how you would like to change it into a more positive and fulfilling one. Contrary to popular belief, the client never gives up control or does anything that they do not feel comfortable with. Hypnosis is beneficial to help release anxieties, phobias, and poor habits; however, the client still needs to be committed to reinforcing the positive commitments in everyday life that were introduced in the session.
